The 2012 edition of the anti-gentrifying Torstraßen Festival looks to attract the Neukölln art grads toward that mystical land they have only read about in ancient guidebooks – Mitte! And Exberliner is setting up camp at Torstraße’s good ol’ fashioned Kaffee Burger. Whom shall we be presenting?

3pm: The golden-locked, sad-voiced trucker chanteuse MISS KENICHI.

5pm: The wooly and ecstatic post-rock of TOUCHY MOB.

7pm: The post-house keyboard dance-improv of HEATSICK.

9pm: Last year’s Torstraßen hero: Nattily dressed, long-legged Beyoncé-besotted art-freak HUSH HUSH.

And we won’t be offended if you also wander up and down the street, taking in the myriad sights and sounds. Peruse the entire impressive multi-venue line-up for the Torstraßen Festival at www.torstrassenfestival.de
