Ulrich Schreiber is the founder and director of the International Literature Festival Berlin. He has written a book about the political theory of Antonio Gramsci and published Die Bilderwelt des Peter Weiss, several of the Berlin Anthologies and catalogues of the festival.

16:00 After leaving the office, I go to private sports and health club Aspria for half an hour of cycling and half an hour of swimming.
18:00 Arriving home in Charlottenburg, I sit down to read all the unread newspaper articles of the last days.
19:00 Dinner at Florian close to the Savignyplatz – the regional German food is superb.
22:00 I meet up with mates at the old celebrity hotspot in Berlin, Paris Bar.

15:00 visit the exhibition at the Martin-Gropius-Bau.
19:00 Dinner at Italian restaurant Biscotti, I always book the table under the lantern.
