Friday

19:00 Sharing a bottle of sekt while people-watching on Kastanienallee.

20:30 Sashimi at Sasaya (Lychener Straße 50, Prenzlauer Berg).

22:00 Pop inside Prater (Kastanienallee 7, Prenzlauer Berg); anything with guitars makes our hips sway.

23:30 Cheap bourbon at 8mm Bar (Schönhauser Allee 177, Mitte).

2:00 A quick trip South to the Kleine Reise scene (Spreewaldplatz 8, Kreuzberg) to remind ourselves of Berlin’s eccentricity.

Saturday

11:00 No time for sleeping in: there are too many Trödel and flea markets to visit! (Neukölln/Kreuzberg) We stop for a late Frühstück at Rita (Pannierstraße 12, Neukölln) before heading back out before the shops close.

20:00 For happy living, it is necessary to eat the Northern Laotian soup with a special order of pho noodles (yes, pho noodles in a coconut-milk soup) at Jimmy Woo at least once a week (Friedelstraße 24, Neukölln).

22:00 We coax out our inner party animals over martinis at Tier (Weserstraße 40, Neukölln), then a night of dancing.

Sunday

11:00 A small breakfast of homemade scones and marmalade, washed down with a cappuccino made from Berlin-roasted beans at our very own Sing Blackbird (Sanderstraße 11, Neukölln).

13:00 Mauerpark flea market (Bernauer Straße 63-64, Prenzlauer Berg).

14:30 Coffee at Bonanza Coffee Heroes (Oderberger Straße 35, Prenzlauer Berg).

16:00 Apple picking in Beelitz for homemade streudel.

20:00 Bible psalms and bibimbap at Ixthys (Pallastraße 21, Schöneberg).
