Thanks to frontwoman Sophie Soraya’s brusque and fiery voice, Mirrors for Princes can be compared to the likes of Garbage and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

The record is filled with hits, from the New Order-like opener ‘Heavy Duty’ to the trip-hop sounds of ‘Don’t Break the News’ to the post-punk energy of ‘Chimera!’. Through their intelligent mix of sound design, infectious hooks and vigorous vocals, Mirrors for Princes have created a high-quality LP that stands out from the crowd.
