2005 CYHSY releases first self-titled album as DIY band, conquering the blogosphere. David Bowie and David Byrne are spotted at several shows. They sign with Wichita Recordings in the UK, remaining unsigned in the US to this day.
2007 Marries the titular inspiration behind the song “Emily Jean Stock”, as featured on CYHSY’s Dave Fridmann-produced second album, Some Loud Thunder, released that January.
2009 Alec’s first solo album, Mo Beauty, is released on Anti- Records. Around the same time, he self-releases a second solo album Skin and Bones under the name Flashy Python, through online stores exclusively.
2011 After a four-year hiatus, CYHSY announces a third album, Hysterical (V2), to be released the day of their performance at Berlin Festival.
