Berlin’s culinary landscape is always growing, and October 2025 is bringing a fresh selection of delicious foodie destinations. From Saigon-inspired street food at Bánhten to the unfussy bites at Fíle Ásto, the sourdough sophistication of La Miche, and the plant-based treats at Fit Cake, these are the city’s newest and most exciting dining spots.
Bánhten

Bánhten brings authentic Saigon-inspired bánh mì to Berlin, with recipes rooted in Vietnamese heritage and a culinary background spanning from fine dining to street food. After a string of sold-out pop-ups over the last year, they’ve opened their own shop, featuring a bite-sized menu of freshly made sandwiches on house-baked bread.
- Bánhten, Grünberger Str. 88, Friedrichshain
Fíle Ásto

At Fíle Ásto, “simple is Greek”. The unfussy, handwritten menu features stripped-down plates of olives, tzatziki and Greek salad served alongside house or featured wines. The interior is quaint, with a terrace that invites you to stay for a little bit longer.
- Fíle Ásto, Kollwitzstr. 26, Prenzlauer Berg
La Miche

Named after a rustic French-country loaf, La Miche ushers France’s bread culture into Crellekiez. Here, you’ll find breads and pastries crafted by French founder and baker Aurélie Guyon. The minimalist space allows sourdough and sophistication to take centre stage.
- La Miche, Crellestr. 2, Schöneberg
Fit Cake

If you want to partake in Kaffee und Kuchen time without sugar or gluten, Fit Cake is your spot. They also offer a selection of plant-based treats you’ll be hard-pressed to find anywhere else, like gluten- and sugar-free Waldbeeren eclairs and Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte. Don’t knock it ‘til you try it!
- Fit Cake, Bismarckstr. 38, Charlottenburg
