Pearlossol is the ultimate spot for a luxurious midday caviar feast, but you may be surprised by the accessible price range. Margarete: Lunchtime classics

Museum cafes are sadly often a letdown. Margarete, however, is certainly worth a visit in its own right. Set over two floors in the ‘Documentation Centre for Flight, Expulsion, Reconciliation‘ on Askanischer Platz, it has an adjoining deli with sandwiches and salads to go. The café itself has an inviting menu of lunch favourites, like quiche, soups and salads.
