The unplanned pregnancy of a young couple takes a turn for the twisted as increasingly strange occurrences bring about an unhealthy dose of paranoia and fear. This might sound oddly familiar (Rosemary’s Baby), but the hand-held jumpiness is a far cry from the suspense, not to mention the quality, that made the former a success. Often involuntarily funny and never actually scary, the film is utterly unbelievable from beginning to end. Even more unbelievable? How bad it actually is.
