The BVG made a musical – and tickets are already sold out
Everyone loves the BVG’s quirky humour. Or at least, everyone loves it until their train is delayed and they’re forced to take a confusing replacement bus service or can’t find their ticket and get pushed up against a poster saying #weilwirdichlieben by an angry ticket inspector.
The BVG’s latest attention-seeking spectacle is a musical telling the story of Tramara the tram, U-Laf the subway train and Bus-tav the Bus. The show runs for one hour and features nine songs, meaning the entire production lasts just a little longer than it would take you to travel from Rathaus Steglitz to Rudow on the U7.

The show was conceived as part of the company’s long-standing collaboration with the Jung von Matt advertising agency with whom they’ve already produced shoes, a clothing range, new patterns for the BVG seats and various charming/smug slogans. But it seems that Berliners can’t get enough.
Titled “Tarifzone Liebe – the Feelings Drive the Tram”, tickets for the show at Admiralspalast on December 4 and 5 were priced at €29 per adult and would also be valid as an AB ticket on the day of the show. Unfortunately though for those interested, both dates are already sold out.
