More snowfall expected on Wednesday in Berlin
Berlin woke up this morning to a light blanketing of snow, and the frosty, slippery conditions are expected to continue throughout the week. Although no further precipitation is expected on Tuesday afternoon, low temperatures will likely mean that the snow will remain throughout the day before it begins to fall again, with another five centimetres expected overnight.
The wintry conditions have already had an effect on road traffic, with several accidents reported in Berlin and Brandenburg – although rail traffic has remained largely unaffected. What’s more, there have been no restrictions at BER airport.
According to the current forecast, Thursday will once again see sub-zero temperatures without any snowfall, before we head towards more snow over the weekend. Time to get those sleds out of your Keller.
