Pregnant woman falls in front of train at Warschauer Strasse – but isn’t injured
On Monday afternoon, a pregnant woman was walking along the platform with a male companion when she suddenly became dizzy and collapsed onto the tracks into the path of an incoming train. According to witnesses, she was able to roll under a ledge on the side of the tracks just in time, reports rrb.

The driver initiated the emergency break, causing the train to stop just alongside the woman. Because of the incident, the S7 line was closed, causing disruptions and the shocked driver of the vehicle was replaced.
When emergency services arrived to take the woman to hospital, police discovered that – although her companion wasn’t responsible for the fall – he was wanted under a warrant for a past offence and was taken to prison.
