Today, more than seven months since the incident, the image can still be be found by anyone who cares to take a look.

The controversial symbol is banned in Germany and its use its punishable by a fine or imprisonment of up to three years. When contacted by rbb, a spokesperson for google said that they were aware of the situation and that the offending image would likely be removed within a week.
