Michelin star rankings: Berlin gains as Germany breaks record
The new Michelin Guide rankings have been released, and Germany now boasts a record number of starred restaurants – 341 establishments across the country have earned at least one star. Berlin, too, saw a notable boost: at the awards ceremony in Frankfurt am Main, it was announced that 18 restaurants in the Hauptstadt have been awarded one Michelin star – an increase from 15 last year.
Four Berlin restaurants were awarded two stars, while just one retained the coveted three-star ranking.
