Berlin Police have launched investigations against four men following raids targeting the distribution of counterfeit money. Carried out across Neukölln, Lichtenberg, Tempelhof and Mariendorf, the searches uncovered around €37,000 in forged banknotes of various denominations and currencies, along with bank cards and an antique firearm.

The suspects range in age from 22 to 56, one of whom allegedly advertised large quantities of fake cash via a messaging service in April. Another suspect was caught with eight counterfeit €20 notes in June during an arrest. A third reportedly attempted to pay with a forged €200 note at a store in Mitte, while the youngest suspect allegedly ordered fake €50 notes by post late last year.
