Women’s EURO: Where to catch the UEFA championship in Berlin

Starting on July 2, the UEFA European Women's Football Championship 2025 will be held in Switzerland. Here are the best places in Berlin where you can watch the Women's EURO matches.

Through July 27, Switzerland is hosting the 2025 UEFA Women’s EURO matches. While we’re already halfway through this month, you can still catch the most intense phase of the tournament (the quarter-finals start this Wednesday) at several public viewings in and around Berlin. Here’s your guide to the best spots to watch the European Championship.

Brlo Brwhouse

For EURO 2025, the Brlo Brwhouse will become a European Championship spot with a big screen, live broadcasts and a supporting program in cooperation with the football magazine 11 FREUNDE. The beer garden is located in the middle of Gleisdreieck and consists of 38 overseas containers and a large open area. Football matches will be shown here in the morning. 

Brlo Charlottenburg will also show the European Championship matches in their cosy bar and terrace. There will also be plenty of dishes to share, alongside “The Harp”, a fantastic Irish stout.

Naumann’s beer garden

After work, Rote Insel’s residents often meet up for home-baked pinsa and a drink or two in Naumann Park’s cosy beer garden in Südkreuz. During the European Championships, the Naumann Forum broadcasts the games on a large LED display.

Safe-Hub Berlin

The Safe-Hub Berlin in Wedding on Leopoldplatz is a non-profit complex that will eventually have a multifunctional building with co-working spaces, a digital lab, a sports hall and a youth café, alongside the existing football pitch. But for now, there’s public football games and viewings with the motto: “Celebrate together, fairly and respectfully!”. All of the German team’s matches will be shown, as well as the knockout rounds and the final.

Revier Südost’s Baergarten

In their historic Baergarten, Revier Südost will have all European Championship matches up on a large screen between imposing brick buildings. Both semi-finals will be shown on July 22 and 23, with the final showing on July 27.

Sommergarten Filmtheater am Friedrichshain

You can watch football under shady lime trees at the Filmtheater am Friedrichshain’s cosy summer garden. During the UEFA European Women’s Football Championship, all matches will be screened starting at 9 pm. There will also be Brlo beer on tap and sandwiches from Beumer & Lutum.

Final at the Willy-Kressmann-Stadium

Home of immigrant-led football club Türkiyemspor Berlin and the venue for the first Iranian women’s football match since 1978, this hundred year-old Kreuzberg stadium comes with a unique history. The final on July 27 will be broadcast after an open-participation FLINTA* football tournament at noon.

European Women’s Art Stalker Championship

Art Stalker is where Charlottenburg meets for exhibitions, live music, cocktails and football. Matches will be broadcasted in the large industrial-style bar where afterwards, you can celebrate or commiserate with table football a round of darts.

Schwarze Heidi

This Friedrichshain fondue hut will broadcast Swiss coverage of the Women’s tournament, making for perfect entertainment between morsels of Appenzeller-coated bread. Owner Jennifer Mulinde-Schmid, however, won’t only broadcast the Swiss team’s – though it should still be especially lively when the Swiss team’s on the pitch.

Berlin’s football pubs

If nothing else fits your fancy, you can usually depend on your local football pub to broadcast the European Championships. The FC Magnet Bar at Volkspark am Weinberg’s broadcasts are always legendary. Tante Käthe at Mauerpark is also a safe bet for public viewing. As a last resort, you can probably also persuade the owner of your favourite pub.
