Three-month internship
Do you enjoy writing and editing? Are you interested in learning the basics of SEO-optimisation? Do you have a passion for sharing the wonders of Berlin, and love attending all kinds of events? If you have answered yes to these questions, we want to hear from you!
Founded in 2002, The Berliner is Germany’s largest English-language magazine, it covers the city’s culture and lifestyle through its print magazine, website, newsletter and social media platforms.
You’ll become an integral part of The Berliner‘s team and help in various aspects of web content creation.
The ideal candidate:
- is Berlin-based
- is available to work five days (40 hours) per week
- has native-level English and some command of German
- has basic experience with WordPress
- is enthusiastic, dedicated and willing
- has strong writing skills
- is familiar with The Berliner‘s print and online editions, and its editorial remit
- has experience of filming and editing video content
Tasks include:
- writing and reporting for the print magazine and website
- fact-checking and proofreading
- assisting with research
- translating texts from German into English
- helping with social media, online and partner content where needed
- filming content for our social media channels
Interns gain:
