Think you’re too old to scout for bunnies on Easter? Pfft. Der Schatz von Gon (The Treasure of Gon) is a Goonies-like scavenge that lets Berliners re-live their mad childhood hunts with the whole of the city as their backyard, ripe for adventuring.

Prompted by a sophisticated series of imaginative, cryptic clues – riddles, poems, messages on public statues and mysterious Lynch-ian boxes – teams of 7-12 trace multiple routes across the city on foot and public transport. Though we don’t want to spoil the fun, the hunt races through a mix of Berlin sights and unknown gems, including churches, parks and high towers with city vistas, and is ideal for parties, office bonding or some good clean family fun for both in- and out-of-towners.

In April, a special Easter Sunday event adds chocolate bunnies and eggs to the bounty as well as Easter-themed destinations. The €44 ticket buys you food, drinks, transport tickets and a place in the five-hour game.

Der Schatz von Gon, Apr 8, five-hour open tour in English or German. RSVP: Tel 030 7009 6225 / [email protected]
