Christmas Fair on Landsberger Allee
Kicking off the long-awaited Weihnachtsmarkt season, this 20,000-square metre fun fair – with countless rides and attractions – is the perfect place for all festive thrill-seekers.

LGBTQIA* Winterdays & Christmas Avenue
Christmas Avenue is one of Germany’s largest LGBTQI+ Christmas markets. It features first-class vendors, a stage programme with popular drag artists, cocktails, drag bingo and much more.

Medieval Christmas Market at the RAW Compound
The RAW grounds are known for clubs, art and cultural events, but this winter, torches, fireplaces and food stalls will light up the night. Settle down with some hearty food and mulled wine and enjoy performances by jugglers and acrobats. For children, there is a hand-operated wooden carousel, a giant wooden Ferris wheel and a troll forest.

Heissa Holz-Markt
The Holz-Markt is back with a different take on the classic Christmas Market – it’s Heissa Holz-Markt! Enjoy some mulled wine in a winter wonderland on the banks of the Spree. Kids will have plenty to do, with fairytale readings, an indoor bouncy castle and a 3D printer recycling workshop.

Christmas Garden Berlin
Every Christmas season, Steglitz’s Botanical Garden transforms into a glowing fairytale landscape. Explore thousands of creative light installations and colourful illuminations along a 1.5-kilometre trail.

All-inclusive Christmas market at Spreespeicher
Why all-inclusive? Because the admission price (which ranges from €29.90 to €45.90 depending on what time of day you visit) includes food and drink. And it’s seriously good! Expect everything from roasted mushrooms and goulash to the whole range of Christmas sweet treats.

Christmas at the Tierpark
Berlin’s second-largest Christmas garden experience, this equally-festive trail around Friedrichsfelde Palace is perfect for all eastern dwellers reluctant to haul all the way out to Steglitz.

Orankelichter at Orankesee Lido
Set on the banks of the Orankesee in the north of the city, this Christmas market has more of a beachy vibe than your typical Berlin Christmas fair. With a programme full of live music, theatre performances and magic shows, and of course plenty of cosy fire spits to huddle around, the Orankesee Lido Christmas Market is not one to miss.

Christmas in Westend
This family-friendly market stands out with its exciting falconry demonstration featuring birds of prey. Along with the arts and crafts stalls. you can enjoy the all-Santa jazz band, so expect “Jingle Bells”, “White Christmas” and all the other Christmas classics.

Rudow Christmas Mile
Stalls offer mulled wine, roasted almonds, cotton candy and all your other favourite festive treats. There will also be a selection of arts and crafts to browse through, as well as a magic show, handicrafts and rides for children. You can also expect some live musical performances.

Christmas Market in Old Town Spandau
Old Town Spandau is picturesque at all times of the year, but Christmas time takes the cake. There is a magnificently decorated tree, a host of huts and stalls gathered in the pedestrian area, and a nativity scene with real live animals.

Lucia Christmas Market at Kulturbrauerei
Set against the backdrop of a 19th-century brewery lies the Lucia Christmas Market. There are several attractions for children ranging from a vintage swing carousel to a massive bungee trampoline. After browsing the arts and crafts stalls and picking up some spiked hot chocolate, you can huddle around the bonfire to stay cosy.

Christmas Market on Wilmersdorfer Straße
Dancing trees and singing bears welcome visitors at the Christmas Market on Wilmersdorfer Straße. Whether it’s pony rides, the toboggan run or a carousel ride – the Charlottenburg Christmas Mile is fun for young and old. Don’t miss Santa’s daily visit at 5pm.

Christmas Market at Charlottenburg Palace
Stroll through the magnificent palace grounds illuminated by light installations while shopping for some seriously cute Christmas crafts. Kids can enjoy the carousel rides free of charge, and the heated tents offer a selection of comfort food options.

Christmas Market on Alexanderplatz
The Christmas market on Alexanderplatz is the former East Berlin’s counterpart to the Christmas market at the Gedächtniskirche. There are over 100 stalls, where artisans like blacksmiths, glassblowers and potters sell their work, and a wide range of mulled wine and food. There is also an ice skating rink and an enormous Christmas light pyramid.

Christmas Market at Spandau City Hall
This year, the market in front of the Spandau town hall celebrates its 51st anniversary. Visitors feeling adventurous can try the roller coaster known as the “The Crazy Worm”, and those looking for more of a relaxing experience can ride the Ferris wheel. As always, there are various food stalls and arts and crafts.

Berliner Weihnachtszeit
Just a few steps away from the hustle and bustle of Alexanderplatz, the Neptune Fountain, the Rotes Rathaus and the Marienkirche make for a dramatic backdrop for market-goers. The highlight of the market? A unique 600-square-metre ice rink which encircles the Neptune Fountain. There is also a Ferris wheel with incredible views, a train that runs through a fairytale forest, and several carousels.

Christmas Market on Gendarmenmarkt
Despite its name, from 2022 to 2024, this market is actually taking place on Bebelplatz due to construction work. But don’t worry, it’s easy to find and still has all the festive charm of the original fair on Gendarmenmarkt. You can listen to the Christmas stage programme, admire a wide variety of handicrafts and feast on delicious food from star chefs in the heated tents.

Christmas Market on Breitscheidplatz
The Christmas market at the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church on Breitscheidplatz offers an experience for the whole family: Kids can get some energy out of their systems on the mini carousels, while the grownups can drink mulled wine or homemade eggnog and browse for handmade Christmas decorations.

Nordic Fairytale Christmas at Gutshof Britz
This market immerses visitors in a Nordic fairytale (there’s even a Snow Queen accompanied by merry trolls!). You can climb on a Viking ship, dogsled or try your hand at shooting a crossbow. There’s delicious food, acrobats, jugglers, traditional handicrafts and even a giant music box. This place is truly magical.

Advent Market at Domäne Dahlem
This Christmas market is set up at a restored 16th century farmhouse and visiting it feels like stepping back in time into a little rural countryside marketplace. There is live music around lunchtime as well as traditional food and drinks available.

Christmas with all Senses exhibition
This special family exhibition at Museum Europäischer Kulturen lets children experience the holiday season with all five of their senses. Exhibits come from both Europe and Latin America, showcasing the diversity of Christmas celebrations around the world.

Holy Shit Shopping market
It’s never too early to start your Christmas shopping. Going into its 20th edition, this annual arts and crafts fair – featuring design products from over 300 vendors – makes the dreadful task a little easier and (almost) fun.

Sustainable Christmas Market on Sophienstraße
This isn’t your traditional Christmas market: The focus is on sustainability and environmental awareness in production, and the wares on sale are truly unique. In keeping with the market’s energy-conscious approach, there are no rides, and you’ll be able to tuck into some satisfyingly healthy food.

Christmas Market in Natur-Park Südgelände

Weddingmarkt – Christmas Edition
The diverse Wedding Art Market is going Christmassy! On every Sunday during Advent, local artists sell their wares on the cheerfully-decorated Leopoldplatz in front of the old Nazareth Church. Around 70 street food stalls do their best to serve everyone that passes through.

Christmas Market and Winter World at Potsdamer Platz
It might not be the cutest or cosiest of Berlin’s many Christmas fairs, but it definitely beats the rest when it comes to adrenaline-pumping activities. The highlight is undoubtedly the toboggan run (it’s the longest in Europe!). A ride costs €2.50, and real toboggan lovers can rent a four-person (for €5) or even a ten-person sled (for €10). If you’re not in the mood for all that physical activity, you can still find plenty of Christmas snacks and hot drinks.
