A lot has changed since 1947, when Magnum, the world’s foremost photo agency, was founded by Henri Cartier-Bresson.
To mark C|O’s 10-year “Jubilee”, Berlin’s premier photography exhibition space is hosting the wide-ranging retrospective Magnum: Shifting Media, New Role of Photography. Featuring images from over 60 years by the agency’s biggest names – from Robert Capa to Donovan Wylie – the show documents the co-evolution of camera equipment and photography.
It’s accompanied by “Photography Days”, an extensive series of lectures and discussions on the current state of the medium, concerts and cook-outs, as well as screenings tied to C|O’s annual “Talents” showcase for up-and-coming photographers.
